How to use our Price List
The custom Colourmount price list is based on a reference number called the united inch (U.I.). It is calculated by adding the length and width together. i.e. 8" X 10" = 18 U.I. Once you calculate the U.I., locate it on our price list. The retail price adjacent to the U.I. is the cost of your custom Colourmount.
Colourmount is similar to matting, in the framing market. In plaque mounting, we need to add a coloured paper underneath your print, photo etc., which is larger, and the size is determined by the width of the border the customer wants. If you have an 8" x 10" (18 UI) photo and want a black border (mat) around it that is 2" wide, your new dimension is 12" x 14" (26 UI). That UI is the reference number you would use to get the retail price.
